FX Photo Studio 3.0 has finally hit the App Store. This app that originally boasted 140 different predefined filter effects now has 171 effects in 19 categories, plus 3 optional categories via in-app purchases.

Snagged this in the early morning when it was still .99!
Sadly still no iPad version
Snagged this when it was .99 cents too. Not particularly impressed, though. Out of all those filters, I'm finding almost none I REALLY like. I don't want to spend even more on add-ons, unless I know they're great. Can anyone vouch for the additional paid FX?
I got it for .99 too. My problem is that as the previews of the effects are shown with another picture than the one I'm working on, I never know what I'm going to get. It takes the fun out of it and so I still haven't finished a single picture in this app.
Try to change the quality of preview, mime is working fine - both preview and result
Paid 3 bucks, missed the morning((( doesn't have its own camera, but for me it's a definite must have, if u are a real iphoneographer, at least it gives a choice, try to experiment with mixing and tuning; it would be dumb to think that the app will create masterpieces for yourself, you gotta put your hands and imagination on it
I think this update set the standard on how a filter app should work. It's what I been waiting for in a photo app; adjustment of all effects, creation of presets, and quality previews. These features will allow me to get the right look as well as save me time when applying it to multiple photos. Definitely will be using Photo Studio more in the future.
What I discovered is that same filters look different on different pictures; so it's hard to say that this filter is just bad and this one is just good - they fit different images, just don't stop to experiment

Just small hint regarding working with FX Photo Studio 3.0: we put lots of effects there, but those are your eyes and imagination, which make pictures beautiful. You are right, Nina, don't stop the experiments, play with mixes, lights and shadows. We give you the tools - get the most from it:)
There are so many effects in the app that the only real "problem" is that it takes a long time to choose which ones - and combos - look best.
The app offers so much. Thanks to devs...
They say that ver 3.1 will come shortly with some new things, like tumble sharing) plus some more effects if those are offered by iPhone photo community. I vote for quality crosspro effects
