Glyn Evans Fast, easy, fun video processing right in your pocket

App Store Description: Processing the image of your videos recorded with your iPhone (3GS or 4) or iPod Touch (3rd or 4th Generation) can’t be easier than this.
It doesn’t matter if you just want to improve your video (ajusting contrast, brightness, shadows...) or if you want to give it a completely new look, VideoFix gives what you need.
Presenting six different high quality filters, the amount of customization available on each one will ensure that your video will look exactly as you want.
With a minimalist, easy to use interface and the immediate feedback of how the video will look, the adjustment step will take you just a few seconds. When you are ready, export your video directly to your Camera Roll in one of the supported resolutions: HD (720p), 540p or 480p (Video resolution is limited by the video’s original resolution).
The filters included in the initial release are:
- Fix! -> All you need to enhance your videos. Adjust the contrast, saturation or brightness to their sweet spots, even modify the shadows or highlights separately to ensure the best image quality.
- B&W -> With seven different filters (including Infrared), you can use this one to give make your videos look old or to give a dreamy, mysterious look to them. The possibility to adjust the image vignette only makes things better.
- Sepia -> Classic look for your videos. Set a low contrast for giving an old movie look or boost it make your videos epic.
- Two-Colors -> The ability to select any two colors makes this filter able to produce anything from dark comic looks or trendy pop art videos.
- Tint -> Tint your image with any color you want, and at the same time adjust a bunch of other parameters or add vignette. Several different looks can be achieved with this filter, including the popular "cross-process" or "toy-camera" effects.
- Comic -> A fun filter that can obtain very different looks. Try it with different saturations to see the possibilities.
More filters will be added for free in future releases. Is there one you really want? Let me know sending me an email at videofixapp@gmail.com or using the feedback button found on the main App screen.

Editors comments: From the developer of TiltShift Video, I had the chance to test out this app before it was released, and I have to say, whilst there are other apps out there that do what this app does, VideoFix is as easy to use as TiltShift Video.
For the introductory price of £0.59/$0.99/€0.79, if you are looking for a simple, easy to use video effects editor, then I don't think you will be disappointed with VideoFix.

Can this be applied on a video that has already been taken by the iPhone's native camera app? Or must the filter be activated on the video as it is being taken?
Thx! :)
I have downloaded the app yesterday and took a quick testdrive.
I like the fix filter very much. Its easy to use and gives you the controls
to add brightnes or contrast to your vids to improve quality like I would
do in After Effects of Premiere.
Great app!
@Myr, the simple answer is yes.
Thx! I'm sold!! :)
The adjustable two color filter is great too.
The simplicity of the controls is so awesome...

YEAH SEPIA! The innovation astounds!
@Paul,
I had e-mail contact with the programmer because he asked for suggestions in the App discription. He mailed that his first thought was making an App just for fixing videos, but he was worried about the possibility of people ignoring it just because it didn't include effects. So he worked to include a few filters, but making them very configurable, not just "one-click" filters.
But the "Fix" part of the application is still his main focus.
That functionality alone, and the clean way it is implemented, is worth the money for me... 8-)
The programmer was very interested to hear ideas from users for updates and I think we can expect a lot from him in the near future and make this app even better.
I use CinemaFXV which is much like this app, but has more filters. But I grabbed this one too. Maybe they'll update more frequently than the other app.
I would like support for any resolution video up to 720P. This app is great for improving videos.
I also got in touch with the programmer to ask some questions and provide some suggestions. He is very responsive and helpful.
As for the app, I agree that the Fix filter is very good. The only let down for me is the fact that it does not support multi-tasking, (but I don't know whether other video editor apps have this function). However, having tried a few other well known video editor apps, I can safely say now that the VideoFix's rendering speed is one of the fastest out there, but remember of course that processing HD video on iPhone's app is not "lightning fast".
I am looking forward for future updates and more features, and I think this app can be great.
