App Update: Instagram

Instagram, the community sharing photo app has just been updated bring with it 2 new filters, Sutro and Toaster, but at the lose of Lily and Poprocket.

Out with the old...

In addition to these new filters, this update also brings..

• Suggested users in sign-up and in Find More Friends
• Performance improvements
• Long comment threads are now collapsed and point to a longer comment thread screen
• Bug fixes

Despite this update the app still does not support full-res, which will disappoint many.

Removing lily was a mistake IMHO.

This "update" is more of a lateral move. Couldn't they have just added the new filters?

Lilly was one of the best filters in this app. Why remove it?!

I could never ever find a photo that made Lily really shine. And is it just me, or does Toaster look like a modified Poprocket?

Bummer they removed the Lily filter, I liked that one. It was different enough and didn't look like / blend in like the other filters can do.
