ShakeItPhoto makes a U-Turn

Glyn Evans Recently ShakeItPhoto was updated to version 1.3, bringing with it support for full-res photos. In addition to the full-res support, the developers Nick Campbell and the Banana Camera Company tweaked the apps colour and saturation effect. Whilst the full-res support was welcomed, many of its users did not like the new look, so after listening to all the feedback, both good and bad, Nick and his team have decided to bring the old look back. The bad news for those who liked the new look, is this will be going, so if you like the new look, then do not update when version 1.4 hits the App Store, and if you don't like the new look, then the good news is, version 1.4 should be available with in about a week.

I'm stickin' with 1.3 for a while :)
so excited about this!!! :)
I am sure they can implement an option for the user to select the color of v1.2 or v1.3.....
I agree with Wei, maybe implement both versions into the update. I personally prefer the old version over the new.
have two 99 cent versions, ShakeItPhoto and ShakeItPhotoMax the Max version explores the boundaries of the idea , the non Max hones the basics of the idea.
He said that the 1.3 look might be part of a different future app.
Both directions have there pluses and minuses...
It can't be that hard to have a simple slider in the navi or pref's area for circa so and so and circa so and so version... How hard could that be and STILL keep the app simply.
Give the users a "best of both worlds instead of releasing a future app with the effects that 1.3 produces.
The developer came forward and stated what he did, he liked the new version and now because many users did NOT like it he is going back to the old version. Give the users the option and make EVERYONE happy.
Simple solution to the issue of "like and not like".
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the feedback. We think that by trying to make "everybody happy", we end up making nobody happy. Most of our customers want a simple app that does one thing very well. Besides, there are HUNDREDS of iPhone apps that try do to everything already.
If we included ALL the features everyone asked for, we would have an app that does everything poorly, but nothing well.
As always the feedback is always welcome. It's good to see a discussion about this. We aren't professional app developers and we are learning as we go. Thanks for learning with us!
Cheers,
Nick
