Glyn Evans After being one of the many apps that fell foul of last years API issue, MoloPix is back and now fully supports the iPhone OS 3.1.
Description from the AppStore: MoloPix is a fun new way of using your iPhone camera, letting you take interesting and original photos.
MoloPix automatically takes multiple shots and combines them into a photo collage. Just select a photo style and you can either can take a number of shots automatically or frame them manually. These photos are automatically merged into a photo collage.
You can then save the photo to the iPhone's camera roll or you can share your photos by easily uploading them to molopix.com. MoloPix.com is a site devoted to photos created with this app, which allows you to store and share your MoloPix photos for free.
The images created are similar to those from the action sampler quad lens camera.
Features:
- Take 2, 4 or 6 photos.
- Auto or Manual shutter
- Simple uploading of photos to molopix.com
- Free storage of your photos on molopix.com
- One-touch sharing of your photos on twitter

Its about time. I have been using QuadCam, but it is good to have Molopix back as another option in my Iphoneography arsenal.
Seems to me that besides the website this app has nothing on QuadCamera. QuadCam can capture over 6 images, set intervals, animates photos in succession, has several editing options, and from what I saw on the last update the dev is trying to discover a way to put the photos together and actually make a GIF instead of just animating the pics. Now THAT would be awesome, I've been wanting to make GIFs out of tons of my pics and can't wait.
So what do you mean by "It's about time"? At first glance QuadCamera beats it out in every category and does it extremely reliably, but doesn't have the website (which I really don't care for), is that what makes this one better?
Having the availability of website help and developer insight is always a plus. I just think having more options is always beneficial. Especially when you can get real creative with the photography that the Iphone camera can produce.
Where did the option to load pics from The album disappear in Molo?
The only reason I would use it... disappointed? yes!
