Description from the AppStore: Face detection to the rescue! From the creators of Pano for iPhone comes Self Image, a new way to keep yourself in the picture. No more fumbling for the shutter, wondering if you're in the shot, or asking a stranger to take your photo.
Press a button to start up Self Image's super-advanced face detection algorithm, turn your phone around and smile. As soon as Self Image detects your face, it'll start a countdown and take your picture. That's it!

Editors comments: This is quite a good self-portrait app, although it does lack the ability to set the position of your face/faces in the frame, and the voice commands of some of its competitors.
The app is very capable of detecting 1 or 2 faces, as well as having a 3 second self-timer built in; and as my screen-cast below shows is extremely simple to use.
Overall I like this app, and if it only had voice commands to help position your face in the frame, then I would have given this app my recommendation, however as it stands, it just falls short for me.

Hey, I'm one of the guys who made Self Image; thanks for the review.
As with Pano, we thought long and hard about which features to keep and which ones to cut. We'd originally planned on including more detailed audio prompts, but as we found with Pano, simplicity wins the day. We found that the prompts got confusing and didn't add much to the experience.
