New iPhone Photo App: iDOF
Monday, March 15, 2010 at 9:01AM |
Glyn Evans Description from the AppStore: It is difficult to have a photograph with shallow depth of field, when you use iPhone's camera. This application converts a photograph from a deep focus to a shallow focus.

UPDATE: I did not get chance to try out this app before posting, but thanks to the feedback from others, this app only saves at a very poor 320x430, so AVOID like the plague!!

Nice concept & design. Sadly it saves at the incredible resolution of 320x430! ☹
that low res sucks. don't need that.
Good idea, but bad result.
And it's not an API issue. Apps like TiltShift Generator and FocalLab have been in the store for a while, have great focus tools and they save in full-res.
320x430 isn't even suitable resolution for an iPhone wallpaper.
