The iPhoneography Showcase of Giles Maunsell

Glyn Evans About me: Unlike most keen photographers, my iPhone has been my sole outlet for creativity for almost a year now. After losing my former point and shoot favourite, the Lumix, on a trip to California, I was forced to continue the trip with only my iPhone for documentation. I very quickly learned to shoot within the limitations of the camera and lens and slowly started picking up app after app after app for editing my photos on the fly. This snowballed into a personal challenge to create at least one interesting photo a day using only my iPhone. Unlike even my Lumix, my iPhone camera is always with me and far quicker to arm with a double tap of the home button. It has enabled me to put off replacing my lumix for 10 months now. I love it.
Since the California trip I have travelled to many cities around the world with work where carrying an SLR at all times would prove difficult. I relish the iPhone's accesibility and discreet nature in these situations.
Most of my photos pass through CameraBag at some point, but I also use lo-mob and TiltHhift Generator to affect colours, borders, filters and focus... Autostitch blows my mind as well! Magic.

Amazing. These are sick. This may be my favorite set yet, out of the many awesome ones that you've shown on this blog.
Thanks for sharing such inspiring iphoneography. I am mega-impressed.
I like how some of the photos here don't look too over processed. definitely fav'd on Flickr!
I'm a little disappointed not to be able to view these showcases directly on the iPhone. Flash?
Great photos. i love your blog, particularly your posts on app reviews.

let me know your thoughts!
Must agree with Luxaeternam, I can no longer view the work of iphoneographers here because of the new Flickrizer thingy. I read most of your site directly from my iPhone and to have the work shown in a manner that is incompatible with the very device you are covering and promoting is, how do I say this delicately....unfortunate. Is there not another way to have the work shown? Glyn, I'm not one to be confrontational, especially given that I too, would like to have some of my own work featured here on iPhoneography.com in the future, however I think this Flickr format is a mistake. I usually avoid any site that is not fully readable/visable from my iPhone.
Just my two cents...

@Max, I understand where you are coming from, and I am looking for a HTML solution to show Flickr streams on the site, but as of yet I haven't found one, maybe they will appear with HTML5.
how lucky for us that you lost the lumix! great work!
