Goodbye LA, Good Morning Europe, Hello London

I grabbed the following shot as I left sunny LA on my flight back to the UK, and seeing the sun setting really rounded of the day.

Above: Goodbye LA (iPhone 3G + CameraBag Lolo effect)As the plane got closer to the UK I peaked out the window and was greeted with this view.

Above: Good Morning Europe (iPhone 3G + CameraBag Lolo effect)Sadly, but as expected, as the plane descended in to London's Heathrow I was greeted by gray low cloud that signaled I was home.

For some reason I really like how British airways puts the little flag on the wing tips. it sorts of reminds me of someone holding their arm out and waving a flag. I love shots taken from or on a airplane

Here are three of mine.

Are you allowed to use the 3G service on the plane? Does it work?

@deborah, Thanks for the comment.

@rfbarr. It was Virgin, but still a British company.

@nev. The iPhone was in 'Flight Mode'

I would be one of those people who'll be ideal to live in UK, since its always gloomy their. Not a big fan of the sun, I actually prefer cloudy and rainy days. Though I enjoy summer but I am just more attached to the rain and the gloomy feeling. Makes me want to haggle up and sleep all day. You got really good shots their, my favorite would be the sunrise.
