Description from the AppStore: Sloppy borders were historically a badge of honor used by photojournalists to prove that an image was full-frame and an event was authentic. The borders evolved into a distinct darkroom style used by artists and photographers.
Finally an app has arrived that will give your digital photos the same edge. Sloppy Borders places a stylish, old-school border around your image, which can be saved to your library or emailed to a friend.
The interface is simple, with a darkroom feel like the days of emulsion photography.
Features:
- easily swipe left or right through seven versions of a sloppy border, from a traditional filed-out negative carrier to an instant-image peel border.
- change from a color photo to BW with one touch
- save to your library
- email directly from app
- no configuring needed

Editors comments: Sloppy by name, sloppy by nature!! OK this may not be a fair description of this app, but the reason I say sloppy, is this resolution thing again!! Here we have an app that is nice and easy to use, has a couple of nice boarders (I'm not a fan of all of them, but it's a start), but is badly let down by its 600 pixel wide and variable hight file sizes.
OK, that's my rant out of the way, so what is the app like to use? Well as my screen-cast below shows, it has a similar interface to CameraBag, in that you swipe your finger across the screen to change borders, making it very easy to use, it has the ability to convert your photo to black and white, and links to the iPhones email client, allowing you to email your photos.
In use I found this app slow to load on both my 2G and 3G, but once loaded I found it nippy to flick between borders and saving was quick.
I know Marty from Life in LoFi is planning a review, so it will be interesting to hear his thoughts on this app, but for me, because of the output size, this is a 2 star app.
