The iPhoneography Showcase of Sylvia Krivickova

Glyn Evans I've been a Fashion Photographer for several years. As with trends in fashion, us photographers try to keep up with trends in technology involved in capturing and processing images. Well, in this economy I simply couldn't afford the latest and greatest digital camera. As I was toying around with some new iPhone photo apps I thought why not use the phone camera to create fashion shoots. To be even more rebellious I started doing entire fashion stories using only my iPhone to not only capture the images but also to enhance and upload directly to my website - skipping the retouching process on the computer completely.
Many printed fashion magazines have gone online and are discontinuing print - unfortunately. This however creates an opportunity to digitally publish photos that don't need to be 30MB each. With fashion magazines always thinking what will be "in" next, phone photography fits in like a glove.
Some say, the camera phone has nothing to do with art and you could take the same photo (much "better") with a modern SLR camera but I disagree. Due to the technical limitations you're forced to be more creative. These images have their own feel, their own style. Why else are lomography, polaroid, or 35mm lovers still around?
If you would like to showcase your iPhone photos here on the iPhoneography blog, then send me an email with a link to your Flickr account and I'll reply with details on how to submit.

oh no... it's the "Blue ? Cube" of death --- no photos. :-(
what's up... we're on iPhones here, this IS iphoneography, right?
2nd that. How disappointing. I have issues with some other blogs as well but they are not iPhone related so this will be my first complaint
@gara, @Tobias. Sorry these new showcases are not visible via the iPhone. I will look for a more iPhone friendly solution, and as soon as I have one I will switch the showcases to that solution.
Very very lovely work.
