New iPhone Video App: Smooth Movie

*** FOR iPHONE 3GS ONLY ***

Description from the AppStore: Do your iPhone movies have "the shakes"? Smooth Movie is a video processing utility app that smooths out shaky videos taken on your iPhone 3GS.

The iPhone 3GS is great for taking mobile video on the go; however, even with the steadiest of hands, it's very likely your movies still aren't as smooth as you'd like. Smooth Movie analyzes your shaky movies and applies our image stabilization algorithm to the frames, resulting in a much smoother movie.

Hi i was wondering if anyone has purchased this or Video Stabilizer to see how the compare on quality and lack of distortion as i was looking for a tool like this to clean up video's before going to Reel Director for on the go vloging.

Thanks

Yes I am interested too in the quality and will probably just buy it so I will post back here soon.

This is very impressive for an iPhone app! Any information on how long processing takes, and whether it outputs full resolution video?

In the demo the "fixed" vid looks unnatural and wavy. Sort of makes me sea sick, going up and down and up and down. The "unfixed" vid sure, yes it is not very stable, but at least it looks natural.

I bought Smooth Movie seeing as it looked to be less wavy in the preview video than Video Stabilizer but upon trying it out on a few different scenarios I found it to have completely rubbish results. It only processes 1-2 frames per second on high quality on my 3GS for a video that's just as jerky but slighty cropped at the end.
