WANTED: iPad Writer

With the US launch of the iPad less than a day away, and hopefully less than a month away for the rest of us, the iPhoneography blog is looking for a dynamic writer to join a small team and write articles for the new iPad section.

If you are interested, then please ping me an email and I will reply with further details.

Ok since the iPad version 1.0 lacks a Camera & even a useful way of transferring your full resolution images onto this device I personally will not be spending my money on buying one.

BUT...

If someone else is at all interested in purchasing an iPad for me?
Then I will be more than happy to write articles & reviews for this new platform.

Cheers Patrick

I was just about to same the same thing scw. I want one for my portfolio it would be nice to show clients my real photo work as I am trying to get them to use me as their real estate photographer. I want the one with 3g and I would like a medium HD and that is going to cost like $800 and then $29.99 a month for the 3g. That sounds allot less appealing though price wise. Makes the $400 wi-fi basic version sound more appealing to me. I figured I should wait till the gen two or iPad3GS or something. By that time the iPhone 4 will come out and will probably want that more anyway. I heard it might have a projector in it. Then I could just project my work on any surface in front of clients. Now that would be impressive. I am rambling now.

Apple offers a Camera Connection Kit that comes with a USB connector and an SD card reader to allow you to connect your camera, iPhone, or an SD card to the iPad. I'll definitely be picking it up for my iPad soon.
