Glyn Evans About me: Photography gives me a greater appreciation for the world. It always has, even when I first started photography in high school with my black and white film camera. I recently came to the realization that I look down when I walk, but with a camera in my hand, I look around me. I see interesting shapes, lines, colors, moments and people. It is the beauty of everyday life that I try to capture.
Once I got into photography, it became a major part of my life. In high school, I spent free periods (and sometimes my lunch time) in the darkroom, and even built one in my parent's basement. I went on to minor with a concentration in photography in college, and once graduated, I stopped regularly taking pictures. Especially moving away for graduate school, I had no easy access (or time) to develop my film and print it. I also never really got into digital photography. That is, until I got my iPhone 3G (over 6 years later!). I love the versatility of the iPhone and the apps, as well as how convenient it is to have with me and use.

I have been following Stephanie for a while now and am always amazed at the wonderful moments she captures. I am really happy that she has been featured here! Her flickr stream is definitely a must for any iphoneographer!
yay! That's my sister! The darkroom in the basement is now covered in cobwebs and dead ladybugs. Btw.
with which apps you make this photos..?
Big fan of Stephie work...congrats!!!!
I love it! Keep publishing, Stephanie!
Thanks Mikkers, Jaime and Eric! and thanks for showcasing my work here...I'm honored :)
Alyssa, I was hoping you were going to keep up the darkroom! Weird how the hemp-string I used to hang prints is still there though...I thought that would fall off naturally or just be annoying to anyone going into the room to get a soda or something and would have gotten torn down by now.
Mark, I edit mostly with photogene and/or tiltshift generator. Since I do a lot of black and white, I found these two apps are really good to adjust the contrast and light to help get the tones I want. Sometimes I use photo fx and photocurves...I really want to push myself and get better and more into color. I also really like the hipstamatic...I find it really cool and fun to play with. In the hipstamtic app, I really like the John S lens and the float film...

Well about hipstamatic, everyone said that is very good, and so on; but I really hate, because when i want to taken photo, i couldn see all what i will taken; because this window from hipstmatic is too small :S
