Editors comments: This is a great app that works exactly as described. In my tests I transferred photos from one iPhone to another, from iPhone to MacBook, and most impressively from MacBook back to iPhone, and all at full-res!!
The app is easy to use with simple instructions that guide you through each process, and the animated graphics during file transfer are a nice touch.
All-in-all this is a great app, and whilst this is not a full review, I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars.
If you have a need to transfer photos from your iPhone to another iPhone, or between iPhone and computer in either direction, bypassing iTunes, then this is the app for you.

how many copies of this app are required? will each device, iPhone, iMac or another iPhone require a copy?
Bye the way I notice that the optional URL block in this comment form doesn't seem to like many URL's
Hello,
I'm the developer of Photo Transfer App. To transfer photos from your iPhone to your iMac or any other computer you only need the app installed on your iPhone. In your iMac you only need a web browser like safari or Firefox to be able to download your photos. The pics are transferred over wifi so no cables or other software required.
To transfer photos from one iPhone to another one you do need to have 'Photo Transfer' installed on both devices.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. I will be glad to assist you. Here is the url to our home page:
