The iPhoneography Showcase of Daniel Holland

About me: I studied photography years ago in college but only came back to it about a year ago, around the same time as I got my first 3G iPhone.  Luckily I live in a city that lends itself to capturing the kind of street photography that I enjoy working with, a city that is full character and life.  When i'm out shooting I am constantly trying to achieve invisibiltiy so I can capture the candid shots that I admire in other photographers, this is made easier by the iPhone.  I can take candid shots of people in the street because I look just like another guy messing with his phone, I'm not sure I would be able to do this if I was using a large digital camera.  The contraints of the fixed lens on the iPhone is also an advantage as I feel it forces you to get in as close as possible to the subject matter, sometimes not the safest way but a lot of fun! Also the fact the iPhone is always with me means that I can constantly update my Flickr page when I'm on the go.

Apps that I use the most are PSmobile, Photoforge & Shakeitphoto.

If you are viewing this from an iPhone, then click HERE to view the showcase.

Created with Admarket's flickrSLiDR.

If you would like to showcase your iPhone photos here on the iPhoneography blog, then send me an email with a link to your Flickr account and a short bio about yourself and your iPhoneography, and if suitable I will post your showcase.

Hi Daniel - Cheers on a great showcase!

What app do you use for the black on white sloppy border that's on a bunch of these?

Thanks guy's:-)
Adam, it's the photoshop app for the iPhone. The very last border option. It reminds me of my old darkroom days.
