Glyn Evans About me: I am actually an accountant by trade but I have always had an interest in photography. I had messed around with various compact digital cameras but was never happy with the results. I got my iPhone about 8 months ago and at the time didn't hold out much hope for it as a camera phone. I then discovered the wonderful world of photo apps and haven't looked back since:-)
I am still very much in training as far as photography is concerned. The great advantage of the iPhone is that is is constantly with me so I can pull it out at any time I see something that catches my eye. The results mightn't always be great. I probably delete 20 pics for every one I keep. I love the fact that I can edit my photos using one of the many apps available. I am trying my best not to 'overapp' my photos now cos I used to go over board in the early days applying all sorts of filters and frames to the detriment of the original photo.
My next purchase is going to be a proper DSLR to try and take things to the next level. But I reckon it'll be hard to beat the pure fun of iPhoneography.

Amazing stuff.. What apps were mainly used?
Some fab pics here!
Thanks for the kind comments.
The apps that I mainly used were:
For taking photos: Hipstamatic, Pro HDR, Camera Genius, ClassicTOY and ClassicINSTA
For Editing: Photogene, iFlashReady, Lo-Mob, Swankolab and ColorClaw, PS Mobile and Perfectly Clear.
I have to say I love the flexibility that the iPhone offers when it comes to taking pics. Having a lot of fun with it.
i just checked out your flickr site. i especially love your portraits! great work.
Hey Paul, great work!
Like Deborah i like your portraits. And your black and white landscapes. What did you use to convert the one color landscape with the cloud to convert to bw. Amazing result!!
Keep one shooting
Tom
Hi Tom
Glad you liked the pics.
The landscapes were taken using Pro HDR. Then I used auto colour adjust in Photogene. Finally adjusted and converted to B&W using iFlashready and back in to Photogene for frame. Pro HDR is great for landscapes where you want to to expose sky and foreground at the same time.
