New iPhone Photo App: Action-Camera

Description from the AppStore: Action Camera is a multi-shot camera. It is convenient to take several pictures in one time.

Features:

  • Intuitive UI and easy to use.
  • Support normal mode and multi-shot mode.
  • Countdown with sound while shooting.
  • Display camera status and available space.
  • Customizable interval between multiple shots.
  • Customizable shot number for multi-shot mode.
  • Open album after shot.

AppStore Link: Action-Camera - Price: £0.59/$0.99

Editors comments: There is very little info about this app, and one key feature is missing from the developers description, and that is output size, so I suspect this is another low-res app.

I wont mess with this app at all. I use Burst. It saves at full res and has not let me down yet.

@Cliff
Gorillacam has a similar feature where you can hold the shutter button down for burst shots. How does "Burst" compare with regards to speed (number of shots per second and total number of shots that can be taken)? Of course i am interested in the speed in full resolution mode (if i have to choose in the app)
Thanks for a reply

@Tomba

It takes roughly 2 pics per second which really isnt a true burst but it works fine for me. I am able to take photos in 2 sets of 4 which save automatically. I am interested in how Gorillacam operates. I dont have that app.

Gorillacam is free, so it's worth the download. :)

Thanks for your reply. Then i dont need to buy this new app.

My real wish is that ProCamera should offer a "burst" without waiting for saving in between.

After two "fast" shots i have to wait for saving of the first pic to take a third one. sometimes it can be too late.
