Warning: Read before update iPhone apps

Every day apps are being updating to be iOS 4 compatible, however if you are not planning to update to iOS 4, then read the apps release notes, or you will be left with broken apps.
This is not a problem if the app being updated is already on your iPhone, as it can't be updated and overwritten, but if it isn't or if you need to re-install it for any reason and you have updated the app in iTunes, then you will be stuck with an app that no longer works under OS 3.x.

I am updating right now. So far so good. I bet you are excited about iPhone 4. Looks like good things for the camera and video now.
Cheers.
Are they also releasing a new OS for the Itouch? Will it also be applicable for the first generation ones? I was to excited to get one so now I'm stuck with a first generation itouch.
No, the first-gen iTouch will NOT run v4!! EVER.
