I'd love to see @Jennyland do a review of this app. Looks tasty.

@Tania: I was tempted when I saw it in the app store. Give me time, my curiosity about it may overwhelm my aversion to higher priced apps :)

Downloaded this morning. First impression is it seems a little slow. I am using 3gs model. What I really didnt like was if I hit one of the setting buttons, you have to wait about 9 seconds for rendering even if you dont move any of the sliders! Need to play with it some more.

I just downloaded the app after seeing it here. First impression is that it is slow but overall I like the outcome of the images and it was worth the wait. Some of my images render within a couple seconds whereas some took 3-4 on my 3GS. It really is a unique look.

I picked this app up to see if it lived up to claims. The images come out nice, but I had a couple of complaints - one small and one not so small. The small one was that I wasn't impressed with the selection of background textures. I bet we can all guess what the not so small complaint is, right? If you said it doesn't save at full res, then you would be absolutely correct. The photo in my newsletter saved at 467x700, nowhere near full res. I'm really tired of getting apps that have such nice features and neglect the one feature that all iPhoneographers are most interested in. I sincerely hope that the creators fix this, as I really find myself fond of the app otherwise.

I ended up purchasing this app yesterday (june 13th) and loved it but had the same complaint Tania did with the smaller output size. I just received an update and now my images all save as large output. I just emailed myself an image that was 1100X1666. It also created the image a little faster than before (at least it felt like it did, but this is subjective because it was not slow).

Overall I would love more backgrounds but the included ones will suffice. Hopefully the developer will create more for free at some point :-)

The effect is fabulous and it is one of the best I have used on the phone. A++ for that part and A+ for updating the app so quickly to fix the small photo issue.

Plus: Fabulous images, easy to use.

Cons: Give us more than the 25 or so backgrounds.

I just got this app late last night and I couldn't put it down. There are many options, and it seems a bit confusing at first, but after a little time it is easy to understand and work with.

The edges are beautiful, artsy, dreamy, and the backgounds are also. Many options.

The one consistent challenge I had was in trying to find the right or best place to center or enter my own photo. The app has the tendency to enlarge it to full size, when it really needs to fit in just part of the frame (at least for some of them - my choice).

I think this app has great potential. I also think it's a well kept secret, for better or worse.

I would like to compliment the developer for having the sensitivity in the features that I look for in an app so that I can complement my photos.
