A MUST HAVE APP... BlurFX is THE Color Splash of Blur apps!
@scw - I went ahead and bought this app on the strength of your comment and I must say that you didn't overstate in the least. I've had the app all of 20 minutes and I'm already enthralled with it. Thanks for the push. :D
How is this one different (or better) than TiltShiftGen?
a nice and a decent app.........
BlurFX actually lets you select exactly what areas of the photo you want blurred out, for example if I have a photo of a rose and I just want the rose focused then that's what I can get. It also has a couple of different blur options (motion, gaussian and median) and the app treats the blurred and non blurred sections as different elements, so that I can make the blurred sections greyscale and leave the unblurred portion in full color. There's also some filter effects that are fun to play with.
It's not the same as TiltShiftGen, in that TiSG creates miniature looking photography and this one is expressly for blurring out sections, each of them has their strengths and I think that they're both worthy additions to anyone's collection of apps.
Holy crap! This app does more than advertised!
Clean and blur are actually two different brushes, and if you have the blur function totally turned off (slid left), you can use the light/dark slider under the sat palette as a selective dodge/burn function. I have taken dark circles out of eyes and dimmed bright background lights with superb control!
This is worth waaaaaaay more than a buck here.
It would be amazing if it was as smooth as ColorSplash. However, it is not. I'm gonna work with it before I give up on it but, I don't think it will stay on my phone very much longer.
