New iPhone Photo App: XProcess

Description from the AppStore: XProcess (pronounced Cross Process) is an app that simulates a cross processing effect and makes your photos strange and beautiful.

Cross processing simply refers to the process of developing one kind of film with the chemicals meant for another type of film. Doing so produces some wild, usually unpredictable results that can give you photographs with vivid saturated colors and higher levels of contrast.

With XProcess, You do not need any difficult setting. All you need is just take photo or choose from the photo library. XProcess automatically adds effect.

FEATURES:

  • output size: 320px to original size (maximum width)
  • output format: High Quality JPEG, Low Quality JPEG, and PNG
  • Shake to Shuffle mode*
  • Share the pictures with others by Email.
  • Automatically activate camera function when launching Monochromia. (optional)

*Shake your iPhone/iPod touch, then XProcess adds a random effect to the photo.

Seems like a bad rip-off of Cross Process (crossprocessapp.com). They stole the look of the logo too.

This app is from the makers of SkipBleach which is a sweet app and I'm glad I got it. This seems to have the same look and feel but I don't think I'm gonna buy it because I already have enough apps which do the same thing, e.g., CrossProcess.

still thinking whether I should download it or not.

I'm not sure what to think of the app. It seems to mostly adjust the tint of the pictures...

Cross Process seems to have a more unique touch than Xprocess. I will have to use it more to decide whether it was worth the buck or not!
