The iPad version has heaps more features and controls than the iPhone version (which is cheaper).
Is this the case for most apps? And is this related to processing power etc?
I wish it was a universal app, then I would have no problem with the $2.99 price tag. It does look very neat, I'll keep tabs on it that's for sure.
I got this app for my iphone some time ago, and really like it... the ipad version is even better! The only problem is that with the lack of a camera, it's more of a process to use it... still worth it!
My other half bought this for his ipad yesterday, and I had a tinker with it last night. I have to say - I was very impressed. We're both avid photographers, so we popped some of our images into the app and played around with the various flare options. They were incredibly realistic looking and the whole app felt very smooth. Its obviously a very specific function - but very well executed imho :)
