What is probably the best video editing app for the iPhone has just been updated with more iOS 4 and iPhone 4 specific features.
So what's new?
- Import music from iPod music library (iOS 4 only)
- Support iPhone 4 retina display
- Upload to YouTube within app
- Improved HD video quality on iPhone 4
- Improved photo render quality

I would love to see an updated review/feature on this. (compared with iMovie too)
More powerful than iMovie, and still relatively easy to use. That's why I didn't understand the iMovie hype.
If they update with added themes they would cause Apple to make iMovie to become a free program.
@Ifonechip It doesn't have nearly enough exposure compared to iMovie to make it a real competitor though.
I just took some video of my daughter's wedding and they are too long to send to You Tube. With this app can I easily divide it up into smaller size videos of 3 to 4 minutes each to send to You Tube or as email?
Has anyone else had problems importing music from iPod? I can't seem to get it to work.
Glyn: You might want to check out (if you have time) the new "Percolator" app - I've had quite a lot of fun messing around with it so far.. and although its a bit limited in its effects its quite unique all the same. Has a similar feel to Phototropadelic, but both are individual in their styles.
Phototropadelic doesnt seem to have been updated since january and has no support for iphone pics
although must say Percolator looks good
@Jem: Thanks! Nice app: Percolator. I just had to try it. :)
Awesome.
Much better than the iMovies app. And it is so straight forward and easy to use, yet so comprehensive in features.
I have been using Reel Director since they first came out. It is a great, user friendly app, and it's great for short videos.
Unfortunately, I can't email anything over 53 seconds.
Does anyone know if there is a workaround for that?
Thanks,
Steven
