App Update: Adobe Photoshop Mobile becomes Adobe Photoshop Express, and adds iPad support

Adobe Photoshop Mobile has just had a name change and a major update, which now includes iPad support, and the app is still FREE!!

Features specific to iPad:

  • Support for portrait and landscape orientations
  • Redesigned Online, Edit, and Upload workflows
  • Ability to work on multiple photos in sequence from within a single workflow
  • Redesigned Organizer view with simplified album sharing
  • Updated icons and visuals that make it easier to navigate and use the Editor
  • Ability to upload to Photoshop.com and Facebook simultaneously

The reviews are shocking. It looks like it has a major flaw in that when launched it opens other apps!!
Sounds like one to avoid until fixed.

A few cosmetic changes, but same features as before, as far as I can tell. Nothing exciting.

Actually, there was a bug I wished they would have fixed on this last update. When you choose the rectangle border, it's a white border, but it's as if the app doesn't align the image correctly into the border and a black shadow/drop shadow appears along the top inside and left inside border between the image and the border. If it did this on either all sides or none of the sides, I would be bothered or would have even noticed, but since it only affects the two sides, it looks glaringly bad.

Unless that isn't a bug and it was done on purpose. Which is possible. But my OCD is bothered by its inconsistencies :D
