Make your iPhone 4 look "like a beautiful old Leica camera"

When Steve Jobs announced the new iPhone 4, he described it as being "like a beautiful old Leica camera", well thanks to a post from Rapahel Salgado (aka BeyondtheTech) over at MacRumors, you can now make your iPhone 4 look a little bit more like a Leica M series camera in 3 easy steps
- This is the costly bit, get yourself a Griffin Reveal case.
- Then download this modified Leica image and print at 1369 x 2717 pixels.
- Finally cut out the necessary hole for the iPhone 4 lens and flash and insert in to the case.

It has also been suggested that you could get the image printed as a skin by ZAGG or an equivalent service.
If any of you have tried either of the above, or any other mod to your iPhone, then please share via the comments.

Was Jobs off his meds that day? Beautiful Leica my ass
Or, if you have a talented wife like me, you can ask her to crochet you a Leica-esque iPhone "sock": http://jamie.ideasasylum.com/2010/08/my-new-leica/
I started down the path of the zagg skin; however, ran into a few obstacles. Ideally I'd like the camera image to extend the entire length of the body however the rounded corners mean I had to shrink the image & leave blank space on the edges which was less than ideal. The next issue is the dimensions of lieca don't fit edge to edge. I photoshopped the image to maintain a proper aspect ratio & added body vice stretching.
The zaggskin editor isn't the most intuitive. So I put the project on a backburner for the time being. If anyone wants my psd or jpg post here & I'll be happy to share. Keep in mind the zaggskin editor only accepts jpg & gif.
So that's my 2 cents
I ordered a skin thru www.skinit.com. It has not arrived yet. Will post back when it does. Their sizing software was very easy, no problems. I am currently using a version that I printed out on photo paper at a CVS print kiosk. Looks pretty good.
I saw this last week, and I decided to do it, too. I didn't care for the default skin, though, so I changed it up a bit in my photo editor and put my own logo on it. I ended up doing a silver, blue, and white floral version (think the Dorophy Tang Diana f+) but then I decided it would be great if I had a few skins to change it up! So I ended up doing a floral pink one, too. The only problem is that I ran out of black ink during the printing of the pink one, so I changed all the black in the image to a dark purple, and it looks a little wonky. I'm going to do a couple more skins and print them when I get around to replacing my black cartridge. Right now I have the purple/pink one on my phone, and it looks okay.
Sweet. This is about the coolest thing I've ever seen and an easy way for us iPhone photographers to have a Leica.
wow this is lame! get a real one instead!
Hey everyone,
Thought I'd share this with you. A few weeks ago iphoneography.com posted an article about skinning an iPhone 4 to look like a Leica. Well, I've always been a fan of the Lomo LC-A, so I went that route. I used skinit.com to make the skin. Check it out!
