App Update: Iris Photo Suite

Iris Photo Suite has just had yet another major update, and now supports "Layers"

This bargain basement app just gets better and better, and all for £0.59/$0.99/€0.79.

So what's new in this release?

  • Fixes a minor bug which caused in the preview of Infrared Filter.
  • Adds support for Layers! Supports 16 Blending modes: Normal; Darken; Multiply; Linear Burn; Color Burn; Lighten; Screen; Color Dodge; Linear Dodge; Overlay; Soft Light; Hard Light; Pin-light; Hard-Mix
  • Added ability to add layer mask.
  • New Color Mask.
  • New Blur Layer.
  • Minor Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements.

I love this app. I've had it for a couple months, & it's now the one I use for the majority of my photos. Once I learn how to successfully apply the layers, I'm sure it'll be ever greater for me. Try it out if you haven't.

I installed this app today (iphone 4) and despite rebooting my phone several times it hasn't worked at all. Whenever I try to chose a picture from the camera roll it completely freezes. Has this happened to anyone else and how can I fix it??

Sophie, mine works wonderful on my 4G and it became my favourite app in the last days.

These layers are wonderful if you want to get scratches and dust and stuff like that into your pics to give them a real analogue touch.

Can some one please tell me where do I load a photo from the camera album, after the latest update,16/11/2010 it want load a picture,please help as this would be one of the best photo apps around.

Geoff, klick on the arrow right bottom, then "open/save", the "new", then "library".

And indeed these are many clicks to load a picture. :-(
