Editors comments: This app might be useful for capturing those action photos, and comes at a reasonable price. What is unsure, is the output size, as there is no reference to this in the apps description.

I have been using VideoPix to do this for quite a while. It saves at full 720x1280 resolution. (of course, it is a dollar more)
I agree with you been using the same program and works great. This program is just a cheaper model and I'm not willing to chance how well it works or not .

I contacted the developer about the resolution of this app. He did promptly respond with :
With standard iPhone4 camera,
the output resolution is 1280*720.
With "MovieToImage",
the output resolution is 640*480.
And if you use iPhone3GS,
the output resolution is 640*480.
Meh, I'll look at VideoPix then. No point getting less than full native res on my iPhone 4.
