How do you place a order for the prints?

Wow... Such hype for this app.

There are a few other great app's out there that deserve "hype" too. Lets not forget them and seems to do fantastic captures also. Nice addition to the toolbox for sure.

Very cool update!!!

yeah how do you order prints? I can't seem to find it.

September 17, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterBrian

I believe you can only order prints through the stacks sections, you can create a stack with just one pick if that's all you need.

9 - 4" prints are $5 which seems pretty reasonable

didn't check out other costs because I didn't have a stack of all hi-res pics.

you can only order the 7" of hi-res prints.

So much hype and yet this is worst lens and film of them all. Disapointed.
However it does seem to make the photos faster and that is always a plus.

Good update.

Problems of Note though:
1. Whenever you select Medium print settings, take a picture. It still takes it in high quality. You go back into the settings tab and it went from medium selection to high selection.

2. This release is more stable but it still crashes out, for me (iphone 4) after taking a few pictures.

Actually it doesnt seem to matter what the print setting is on (standard / medium / high), they all are re-auto set to high.

It's not crashing on my iPhone 4--but before the update it didn't crash, so that's no biggie. I love the fact that I can disable the iPhone's flash. I like the new film and lens. I'm very satisfied.

You can order prints from Stacks. Basically go to your recent prints, select stacks in the top tab, select/create a stack, then click on the little gift box in the bottom center. From there just follow the prompts to purchase. Hope that helps!

Good update, nothing special though. The clear button and led-flash off button are a good adon.

I wish they'd bring on a dark-room in-app purchase to enable post processing of exisitng pics.

I think the film is just okay and the lens is meh. Was hoping they would be a bit more edgy with the updated lens/film but the rest of the update is good and it does process faster. I think plastic bullet, lo mob, and picture show have better effects. It's always been an irritant that I can't load from the camera roll.

I think hipstamatic is one of the worst apps in my collection of applications. seriously has issues posting on websites via iPhone. sometimes it creates duplicate copies and doesn't import correctly into iPhoto. some photos end up as just a black graphic when posting to facebook or tumblr. it's really crap in my opinion. the total bogus move on their part was not allowing you to import images into the application. that's just lame. so you have to take the same image over and over on different settings in order to see what you want to use and in the process creating way too many files on your phone, plus there's zero spontaneous response time if you want to capture an image quickly. theres zero spontaneity! i want to be able to shoot fast. and the best way is to use iPhone's built in camera then import later. hipstamatic is lame. and the cookie cutter look of every picture is starting to get on my nerves.

there.

Hipstamatic is the coolest thing I do with my iPhone, I absolutely love it. In all honestly its reeally gotten me intersted in taking picturres again, and is one of my more enjoysble small hobbies these days.

Some nice new features in the update and nice to have new film and lens to play with. Keep em coming!

I agree with pretty much everything you mentioned zkwc, I'd be stoked on Hipstamatic if you could simply import your photos from the camera roll but as it stands it doesn't get much use.

I havent got tthe new Bettie XL pak yet but looking at some photos I see the noise pattern is the same in every one. They should have made it random.

sorry. the new film is Blanco with a less crisp inside border on the frame. Perhaps they've reached the limits??
