New iPhone Photo App: ColorRight

ColorRight - Custom White Balance for your iPhone Camera

App Store Description: ColorRight fixes your camera color as you shoot, in real-time, NO EDITING, or post processing required.

Above: Developers example, with and without ColorRight

Also features many "Power Cam" features including:

  • Exposure Lock (iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPod Touch 4G)
  • Focus Lock (iPhone 3GS, 4)
  • Fill Flash (iPhone 4)
  • Front and Rear Facing Camera Color Correction (iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G)
  • Flash Lock (iPhone 4)

Perfect Camera Color in Seconds with NO EDITING!

The ONLY custom white balance solution available for iOS devices!

Also includes a 20 second Help Video and Quick Start guide. Takes only 1 second to set your color in camera.

Your photos turn out great right out of the box, without the hassle of having to fiddle with them in an editor later on.

App Store Link: ColorRight; Price: £2.99/$4.99/€3.99

Editors comments: Whilst a little pricy, if you have a need to shoot indoors without flash, then this app may just help get those colour balances right without the need to post-process.

I've not had chance to try this app out myself, so if any of you have, then please let us know if it works, and what you think of it.

I agree the price point seems a bit high for a starting price. Especially since it has no store reviews. If the price drops I would consider trying it out. It seems like it would be a great app if it actually does what it says it does.

Ditto.. at a cheaper price i'd have 'snapped' it up (hoho)
But I'll wait for more info
also put off by the screen shot that shows an in app purchase of an "iBal filter"..

Agreed. A bit pricey for what it does.

I just put it on AppShopper.com so I'll be alerted of any price drops. I hate to be cheap, but I've purchase so many different photo apps I need to be a bit picky. Unless reviews of it turn out to be fantastic.
