I'm struggling to understand the use case for this app. I understand what the app does but can't see why I would want to do those thing.

Why would I want to "transfer photos between [my] PC/Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad across any connected wireless network"?

Hi Glyn,
Thanks for your post about Photo Transfer App. I appreciate it! I hope you find the update useful and easy to use. Thanks again.

@Khurt
Hi, well, many people use Photo Transfer App to quickly download photos from their iPhone to a computer, it could be any computer not just the one that you synch your iPhone with. For example if you go to a weekend trip with friends you can easily download the photos you took to your friends computer or to your friends iPhone/iPad.

We also have many customers who like to work with photos on their iPad using other apps like Photogene or Artstudio so they use Photo Transfer to quickly get their iPhone photos onto their iPads and then once they are done to their computers.

I hope this gets you an idea of what Photo Transfer App uses cases are. Let us know if you have any further question: http://www.phototransferapp.com

As outlined by Enrique those are the exact reasons I use this App, and I use it all the time (kinda wish it did bluetooth). It is quite a bit easier to use than the camera connection kit between iPhone and iPad and better than other choices for transferring between iPad and Mac.

Also, I don't know if this is a universal iPhone 4 problem (I believe it is) but when transferring images from the iPhone to either the iPad or to my Mac via the wired connections I find that most of my images are represented as dark outlined squares...the thumbnails don't show before transfer. Photo Transfer doesn't have that problem.
