New iPhone Video App: VintageScene-Video

App Store Description: Vintage Scene Video takes our award winning Vintage Scene product and lets you make videos out of them.

Vintage Scene is the best special effects software for video enthusiasts, turning a new or recent video into an old video, one that looks like it was taken many years ago. This app is just plain fun!!!

This unique algorithm automatically combines several classic effects: sepia tone, grain, darkened edges, distressed paper, along with the look of fade that with time has left behind an image with only bright blacks and darkening whites. Vintage Scene is easy to use but gives the user control to change each component for a unique look on each video.

Videos can be saved in hi resolution on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G.

Visual presets with the ability to create custom presets using the "Save" menu.

Editors comments: This looks like an interesting video app.

wish they had an actual sample video on their site instead of frame grabs.

This looks like what ive been looking for , however if I have CinemaFXV does this offer anything better? Also why does it have to have a film border? Or is that just the sample screen grabs?

I stick with Vintagemaker.

The dirt dust and hair FX on Vintagemaker look really bad and way over done. Hopefully Vintage scene is much more subtle.

Actually a few reviews in the app store say this app isnt all that great due to the FX are staitionary and dont move around for example dust and dirt etc.

I really doubt that this is as good as Cinema FX!

in fact, is MUCH better than Cinema FX in terms of compression quality. Cinema FX uses abrasive compression algorithms.
