TrueHDR has just been updated to version 2.2, bringing with it...
- Geo-tagging - Keep track of where you took photos with TrueHDR! With your permission, TrueHDR now tags photos with location information.
- Improved alignment - fewer ghosted edges resulting in even crisper, higher quality images
- Enhanced light metering - better balance between shadow and lighter area in images, meaning that you end up with a better range of details in your pictures
In addition to these updates the app is also on sale for a limited time, so could not be a better time to grab this app if you don't already own it.

Hey guys!
Against Pro HDR which one would you pick?
BTW the 50% off is gone, i just saw the post and i was going to get it put is at 1.99
Pro HDR all the way
@rod I tried both a while ago, and Pro HDR gave me much much better results. granted, I immediately deleted TrueHDR so maybe it was juts a one off thing, but that's my experience anyway.
Although, with these updates, like improved alignment and lighting, it might be worth trying again
I hope it's an isolated incident but I purchased this app last night & while it will take all the photo's, process & merge them once I go to save the final product it crashes.
To Radhaz, It crashes for me as well.
@Kam I had an email exchange with the developer & they stated the crash happens if you don't have the latest OS. They neglected to include the API to check for the iPhones os when buying or to mention it; however, they're updating the app description to at least mention the OS requirement. They said if I would like a refund that I should contact apple support.
The key difference between this and Pro HDR is that Pro HDR allows you to alter various image settings on the merged image before saving e.g. brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth and tint - this allows more flexibility - you can continue making more alterations and saving.
I always create a merged image in both apps and I generally prefer the look created in Pro HDR - things appear more 'funky' and less real in Pro HDR which is what I prefer.
Regarding alignment I get mixed results - sometimes 1 is better than the other - but I've not done any controlled tests.
HDR Fusion is another to look at, and although it operates much faster it has less options than both of these!
