6x6 camera app gets some extra retro features

If you like shooting square formatted photos, then you may be familiar with 6x6, a camera replacement app that gives the iPhoneographer the feel of shooting with a 6cm (or 2¼-inch) square medium format.

Like many apps, 6x6 has recently been updated with iOS 5 support, but that's not all, 6x6 has been completely rewritten, gaining an increase in performance and control, as well as some nice retro effects, like the inclusion of real camera sounds, and TLR mode, which provides a mirrored preview, but that's not all.

Just a note that the new release (2.04) now has a Volume+ shutter release option - optional, in case you'd rather leave your volume controls as volume controls.
