Glyn Evans Currently on offer in the App Store for free, SpookyPic is an easy to use app that offers various filters and effects, that helps you create what the developer calls "scarier" photos.

And they all end up with an image that is 1936 x 2592 (five megapixel).
I have a bleak memory of having had the same issue on a previous installation. Uninstall the program, restart the phone and reinstall the app again (maybe with yet another restart). Then you should , hopefully, have a working installation.
Give the app another try. For the images that its built to handle it's well worth the buck I spent on it.
