ScratchCam, the grunge-up app for your iPhone, just got a major update

ScratchCam, the app that lets you grunge-up your iPhone photos by adding scratches, photo damage, or vintage film effects, has just been updated to version 2.0.

With this update comes a whole new user interface and presets menu, a new ScratchCam Studio, the ability to customise the ScratchCam effect, and an all new and exciting feature, the "Download Centre".

While it's new UI takes a moment to get use to & isn't going to appeal to everyone, v2.0 update is absolutely FANTASTIC! Update 2.0 brings so much more control & hands on tweaking, user defined combinations etc. To me it is very much like PictureShow you can add a preset or hit the randomizer button... but you can then make further edits & rearrange & hand select your effects combinations & keep in mind majority tapping 1, 2 or 3 times varies the effects, textures result. As well as saving any result or combo to your favourite preset effects panel for later use.The ability to de-select a border or frame & or change a texture or colour effect makes 2.0 simply that much more awesome. Then add in the fact they have added more colour filters, textures & borders as well as a Download Centre when you can freely download & install packs of effects for FREE (obviously the download centre is to cut back on the initial install size & data usage & give you a choice on what you want to add). Upon the release of v2.0 there were already 7 effects packs to download & install freely, thus enhancing the release of version 2.0's major overhaul just that much further & give us endless possibilities. ScratchCam FX v2.0 is well worth the update & IF you do not own it, it's another WORTHY app to add to your creative apps collection!

I totally missed the download centre part of this app. I love scratchcam, so all this extra content is just icing on the cake. Thanks for the heads up, everyone.
