I was contacted a couple of days ago by app developer Marc Mennigmann, who is working on a new Flickr based app called Promotr.
Marc tells me that "Promotr is a professional tool for getting more views on Flickr", so whether you're a Pro, Semi Pro or Amateur photographer, or like many of us, an iPhoneographer, Promotr can save you a lot of time and help increase your photo views.
Marc went on to say, "the most common tasks to get your photos seen on flickr, is to add them to groups, tag them with keywords, and add them to sets. With "Promotr" you can combine these three tasks in one action, and best of all, you can run several of these actions on a selection of your photos in a batch."
Marc's aim, is that "Promotr" will make it easier and more convenient to have your photos be seen by your intended audience.
If you like the sound of "Promotr", and would like to take part in the apps beta testing, then you can sign up with TestFlight here, or if you just want to follow the apps progress, then you can do so via Twitter or Facebook.

thank you very much for this article. I found a large number of beta testers in almost no time. I even had to close the beta signup form due to the huge number of beta-tester-wannabes. Thanks to all of you who would like to help me testing this app!
Best,
Marc
Thanks,
Marc
Looking forward to see this app on store now ;)
currently there is no additional official information about promotr. In a few days we will release the homepage of this application that will include lots of info. You will find it here:

Thanks for considering to help!

Marc
