iResizr, no, I distort

Another "micky mouse" app has just hit the App Store called iResizr. Described as an app that lets you "resize your images preserving the most valuable information".
The developer says "this app uses Content Aware Image Resizing technology in order to resize images, allowing you to reduce or increase their dimensions without stretching", and that "you can Save, Mail or Tweet the resulting images", and all this for FREE! Well this all sounds pretty impressive stuff, but in reality, this app does nothing more than crop and distort the images it tries to resize, and as for saving, what the app description neglects to tell you, is that unless you upgrade, your photos will be plastered with an iResizr watermark!!
I'm not sure if this one falls in to the scam category, I'll leave you to decide on that, but it's defiantly another app that doesn't really tell you much in the description, offers itself for free, only then to try and entice money out of you, and for what, low-res cropped distorted images.
