Black Friday Sale now on

It's Friday, and it's sale time on the App Store. There are just too many apps on sale to cover them all here, so here are some of my top picks of apps that are now FREE or have been reduced to just £0.69/$0.99/€0.79, but don't forget these apps are on sale for just 1 day only, so be quick.

Simply B&W is a fantastic app. MonoPhix has more features, but Simply B&W is just so easy to use and has a much better UI. I'm torn between the two but I will probably keep Simply B&W and delete MonoPhix; I know it's more basic, but it's perfectly good for my needs. And I'm so glad Simply B&W saves at full resolution!

Glyn, which of the two do you prefer? Just wondering.

Full res is inaccurate. I think Simply B&W max res is 5 MP. More than that, res will be reduced.

OK, the max res is 10 MP but square format.

@Miege
On my iPhone 4s "Simply B&W" supports max resolution without reducing. Dont know what you are doiing but Full resolution is accurate.

@Tomba

Full res is inaccurate unless it says full res for iPhone format. What if I use a 12 MP picure ffrom other camera? High or XX MP is better.
Anyway, my picture is reduced because it overlaps the max res supported i.e. 3000 something pixels times 3000 something pixels (square). I prefer res limit to be more than enough/standard

:)
