ACDSee Camera Flash is FREE for a Limited Time

Above: With and without ACDSee Camera Flash.ACDSee Camera Flash lets you instantly correct your underexposed photos using patented LCE technology.

Patented LCE (Lighting and Contrast Enhancement) from ACD Systems International Inc is the same driving force behind the Lighting tool in the ACDSee photo editing products.

It adds natural-looking illumination to the dark areas of your photos while still preserving contrast and detail using advanced image processing algorithms from ACDSee.

  • Increase exposure of dark (underexposed) photos
  • Increase contrast and vibrancy of dull photos
  • Correct uneven lighting
  • Correct backlit photos
  • Produce HDR-like results from a single image

Better than a flash
An actual on-camera flash can create unwanted highlights, unnatural colors, too much or too little illumination of the subject, odd shadows, and red-eye. Using ACDSee Camera Flash with LCE technology can eliminate these unflattering, unnatural effects.

* Tested on iOS 5 and optimized for dual-core image processing on iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

Editors Comments: This is a pretty good universal app, with a simple interface and one that offers full-res support, so grab it now whilst it's FREE.

Hi Glyn, what about noise? I think Camera+ do the this job well too but clarity makes a lot of noise on some underexposed pictures. So is ACDSee better in this job?

@Tom. There is still noise with ACDSee Camera Flash, but as it's FREE, it's worth the download.

I am starting to have way too many camera apps. If I have Dynamic Light do I need this as well?

Great App! Thanx!

@Paul
Orasis, Camera+ (Clarity) and ACDSee are best used to lighten up shadows. DynaLight is more towards HDR trippiness.

@Tom
Noise isn't much obvious with either Orasis or ACDSee.

@Paul
But DynaLight can still lighten up shadows---I just don't think that what it does when it lightens up shadows. It feels like the overall color might change. Anyway, up to you.
