Robson Santos is well known in the iPhoneography community for his project "iPhoneography London", his general creativity, his excellent mixing and processing skills, his passion for colours and above all selective colours.
He will be contributing to a presentation at Apple Store (Regent St, London) this Saturday, alongside other members of the London iPhoneography Group + Friends. His presentation will include a selection of some of his latest works under the mantle of “The Neon Project” and he will be explaining the processing from start to finish; according to Robson, this is not simply a collection of pictures of neon signs, the concept is all about pictures with some very strong graphics elements (i.e. curves, lines, symmetry, etc) with all of them using very highly saturated colours.
"I was getting a bit bored with selective colours, and tried to create something different, more extravagant and colourful. I know that sometimes less is more, but this project is totally the opposite. Some people might like it, others won’t, but I still very much believe in doing what I want to do for my own pleasure. The hours I have spent working on these images have actually been both enjoyable and rewarding and I'm very happy with the results."
The London iPhoneography Group and Friends takes place on Saturday 12th of November 2011 from 3pm, Apple Store Regent St, London and includes a number of talented members of the London iPhoneography Group: Matt Brock, Daniel Holland, Gordon Fraser, Andrew Chapman, Alvaro Arrequi, Kevin Thornhill, 
Robson Santos, and also a very special guest Nettie Edwards, AKA Lumilyon.
Matt Brock the founder of the London iPhoneography Group said: "It's great to see what the London iPhoneography Group has achieved since being founded 14 months ago, with over 50 active members posting an amazing variety of photos, and now we're seeing the second of two fantastic Apple Store events this year. With photos being shown from eight very talented iPhoneographers - seven members of the group plus a special guest - it's wonderful to see how far iPhoneography in London and the UK has come."
