PhotoStackr and FlickStackr get some nice updates

Both PhotoStackr for 500px [App Store Link] and FlickStackr for Flickr [App Store Link] have just been updated. These top photo sharing and viewing apps for Flickr and 500px now include:

Improved Slideshows : Show off your photos to everyone.

  • Music
  • Ken Burns effect
  • Random order
  • Full resolution AirPlay display (and mirroring)

Larger thumbnails : No more tiny squares when browsing

  • Changes size of thumbnails view from small to medium

Alphabetic navigation : Quickly get to that contact named "Zulu"

  • Navigate Groups, Contacts and Tags using the standard iOS alpha index.

Stacks: What we had been planning since the first release. To actually organize your and others' photos. Create Stacks for special projects, or kind of photo.

  • Multiple Stacks (aka Folders)
  • Stack photos, photo lists or people
  • Create and delete stacks at will
  • Make a Stack available offline

Full offline support : No more photos erasing themselves from the 'cache'.

  • Create an Offline Stack and everything you put in there will remain on your iOS device
  • Delete the photo or folder from an offline stack and all of its photos will be deleted immediately.

In addition to the above new features, FlickStackr for Flickr also lets you...

Save to Photo Library : Finally being able to save in Original size, or in batches

  • Choose photo size to save to Library : Large or Original ** Images may not always be available, depending on the photographer's download restrictions
  • Choose Photo Library Album to download to (requires iOS5)
  • Batch download to library from any Photostream, Set, Explore, Stack, etc

Both apps are universal, so can be used on any of your iDevice's, and are available from the App Store priced at £0.69/$0.99/€0.79 and £1.49/$1.99/€1.59 respectively.

Please note: Both these apps offer the option to enable the others service (i.e. Flickr or 500px access) via an in-app upgrade, so if you use both of these photo hosting services, there is no need to buy both apps, as either can do both.
