Image Blender has been out for a little while now, and is described as a "simple and clean application with a single purpose, blending together images". You can use multiple blending modes like Multiply, Overlay, Screen and many more, which can be used for a variety of things, like creating your own personalized filters, or just merging two images.
The AppThe app has a clean and simple interface. To use, simply tap the little square boxes found at the bottom of the app screen to take or select 2 photos, then having chosen the mode from the Blend menu, simply use the slider to blend the photos.
Having blended the photos, simply tap save, and your blended result will be save at full-res.
What do I think of Image Blender?
This is another great app that not only lets you great double exposed looking results, but is ideal for mixing with other apps, as my sample below shows.

Can someone post a full list of the available blend modes? I don't see it in the app description or on the developer's site.
Would you recommend it over Backgroundz? Love the station image btw!
Full list of blend modes: Normal, Multiply, Screen, Overlay, Darken, Lighten, Color Dodge, Color Burn, Soft Light, Hard Light, Difference, Exclusion, Hue, Saturation, Color, Luminosity, Plus Darker, Plus Lighter.

I'm having real probs with this app. Tried to get support but it takes me to a site that you need to login to? Help please, .....
If you have any problems please send a mail to blender@jhnd.me and I'll try help you.
Yeah, if you could compare this to Backgroundz and DXP, that would be helpful. Thanks!
Thank you Johan.
Thank you very much for getting in touch with me & sending samples of photos Johan.
I will have another try tomorrow.
The same price as Iris Photo Suite which does the same and a lot more?
What happens if you try to layer pics with different dimensions or sizes? Are they cropped or resized? That's a point i don't like at Iris.
I bought it yesterday and really love it, it's almost like DXP but super simple and looks really good.
If there's different dimensions on images it sizes up the overlaying image to fill the underlaying, but you can move it and resize it as you want. It's not the 'one and only' tool to use but I see it as a wonderful addition to my setup of photo apps.
It's way better than Iris at what it does, but it's not the same type of app.
Thanks Johan. I think I'll give this one a try.
This sounds more like an ad-post to me.
You really need to change title - it's not new as you described, so no reason to mis-lead people.
OK, so it's been in the App Store for a couple of weeks, but it's still newish.
How would you compare this to BlendCamP?
I wonder this app can manipulate high quality pictures downloaded from DSLR camera. I think yes but maybe the quality is not satisfied as the limitation of resolution. Thanks
