Editors comments: Halftone is an easy to use, albeit limited app, that may appeal to those of you who like that comic look, but at a resolution of just 1124 x 865 pixels, will be relegated to the ranks of social networks.

I downloaded this app moments after it hit the app store. I've been looking for an app that can do just this sort of thing effectively. It does a very good job for what it does. If you want a real comic book feel it looks better if you posterize or cartoonize your image first. However as stated the low resolution is kind of a bummer.
Nice little app. Be much better if you could create your own panel styles or add speech bubbles. Higher resolution would be nice.
I'll keep using Strip Design instead, even though it's a little user unfriendly...
Would also be nice to be able to adjust some settings like amount of halftoning. BW vs Colo halftoning and also light image controls like brightness/contrast... At least the image controls can be done in another app - but would be nice to have an all-in-one
Thanks for the post and the feedback, everyone. We're adding higher resolution support in an update that we're already testing. Plus, we're taking feedback on the features that people would like to see.
