The pic.me case will be a multi-functional iPhone 4 case with the main purpose of allowing users to better utilize the amazing HD video camera built into the iPhone 4.
The idea behind the iPhone 4 pic.me case is to add maximum function to a case that normally just protects your iPhone from bumps and bruises. By adding an arm that rotates and locks into 19 different positions over 280 degrees of motion, the pic.me case can stand on its own in a plethora of different positions. These different positions allow you to set the angle of the iPhone just right so that you get the angles you want when viewing the screen, taking photos or shooting video. When you're done, the arm folds into the case so it's out of the way. It's like having a mini-tripod with you all the time.
The "pic.me" iPhone 4 Tripod Case is not yet in production, but is a Kickstarter project. For more information about the "pic.me" iPhone 4 Tripod Case, and and how you can pre-order one, head over to the Kickstarter project page.

wow, that is really a very functional and useful case for the ones who loves capturing also with their iphone,so this tripod can be very helpful for taking steady and clean shots.
Looks a bit 'gimmicky' to me. Great if you want to take lots of floor shots but not much good for mounting on tripods or stands. I still really like my XShot iPhone 4 case which is really much more versitile.
Thanks for the feedback. We're definitely looking for info like this. One of our Kickstarter backers asked the same thing about a tripod mount. We are working on a way to add a standard 1/4-20 tripod mount to the existing case, no added material. It most likely won't be as robust as your Xshot, but I've got an idea that I will be modeling up and posting as an update. The great thing about the pic.me is that it's a viewing stand too. Also, you don't need to carry around a tripod to set it up :)
