What an annoying experience.
First I must say that this app really works. The zooming works great and gives great dynamic for transitions.

The thing that bugs my the following.
I bought the original version.
Suddenly this changed in version 2
A message in an opening window on version 1 said you could update for free in a couple of days after the live date of version 2 (how stupid is that...as if I'm constantly scanning for new apps)..
A couple of days ago I stepped over my frustration and bought version 2 too, to see it for free a couple of days later... Thats not the way to treat a customer!

We understand your concern but let us explain our situation.

Video Zoom original was on a different developer account. Because of some unavoidable circumstances, it had to moved to a different developer account. To give the customers of Video Zoom original a chance to download the new version of Video Zoom(which was on a different account), this new version was made free so that these customers didn't have to pay twice. Before being made free for a two day window, all customers who had requested to be notified of the Video Zoom new version being made free(this is the message in a window of the original Video Zoom that Eric above refers to) were sent an email who then proceeded to download Video Zoom new version.

Many of customers have appreciated our thoughtfulness and care while allowing them to get the new Video Zoom without paying twice.

I like this app but how do i take the videos saved inside the app and move them onto my computer?

Just wanted to put in a current update. I purchased this app last week, recorded video on Saturday night, and tried to render it on Sunday. The render completed with an error, and my original video was deleted. Yes, deleted. I emailed the developer, and after a few days received a response that basically told me it was a "one off" problem, and it was the first time he'd heard of it. The video was gone, and there was no copy recoverable. He might consider NOT deleting originals in a future update. Not exactly helpful or hopeful. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.

I tripped over this older post while trying to find another video app that actually records and saves video. Kinda like you'd expect.
