App Update: Instagram

Love it or loath it, the app behind the phenomena that is Instagram has just been updated with a revamped news feed, improved performance, along with a new Tilt-Shift effect.

Below is a full list of what's new in version 1.5 of Instagram

  • The News feed has been totally revamped—watch as the story of your friends on Instagram unfolds
  • New Tilt-Shift effect—give your photos depth of field and realistic blur
  • Email photos! Choose "Email" as a sharing option when taking a photo, the friends you choose will receive an email with your photo
  • Tap and hold a username to @mention them
  • You can now add geo locations to photos without naming the location
  • Clean up of services list
  • Performance improvements in filters

Still needs an option to save full or original size image to the camera roll.

have they changed their terms of use yet so that my photos don't all automatically belong to them? The day they change that is the day I will return.

Looks nice, but they still need to keep their word about full res. It was almost half a year ago that their CEO promised it within the next few updates on their Get Satisfaction page.
