Search for Instagrams by location with HipsterVision

HipsterVision is a new search aggregator, that lets you search for geo tagged photos uploaded by Instagram.

How does HipsterVision work?

The HipsterVision search translates any query into a geocode with the Google Maps API, then passes that to a node.js server, which talks to Instagram and returns the results.

Horrible. "HipsterVision" sounds tragically too similar to "Hipstamatic," and of course Instagram is a thinly veiled clone of the latter. What were the people who came up with this idea thinking?

Great Post, but how to "upload" Pics to HipsterVision? Just use the Instagram iPhone APP?

You don't need to upload, the service extracts photo direct from the Instagram servers
