App Update: QuikCam becomes QuickPix

"Better performance, a new name and a few bug fixes"

Follow the recent contest here on the iPhoneography blog, the app formally known as QuikCam has just been updated and renamed to QuickPix. Whilst no one actually came up with this specific name, QuickPix was inspired by a suggestion made by blog reader @oniontears [congratulations @ oniontears].

In addition to the name change, here are the apps other updates:

• Name inspired by @oniontears - thank you!
• Improved burst speed
• Improved app start-up time after first launch
• Fixed rare crash that could occur when the users Photo app camera roll was empty
• Fixed bug that resulted in improper image orientation when the orientation lock was on
• Fixed rare crash that could occur with very long bursts (100+ photos)
