Zapd is really cool, I've created a small website for my exhibition with an automatic redirection when you are surfing on an iPhone to this small zapd done in an instant: http://16cz.zapd.co

Thanks for the writeup!

We're looking for submissions for an iPhoneography showcase. Submissions due by April 29; what you send us is up to you, however they must be in the form of a Zap url.

Send us your stuff, we'll put up linkbacks.

After seeing a facebook post from you about this app I tried it out with some iPhoneography I did while on a shopping trip to IKEA. http://1rfx.zapd.co/

I've created one with some of my iPhoneography. I love how easy to use and basic, yet not cheesy.

Here you go: http://224x.zapd.co/

This really is a great app. I creating a page in minutes with my existing photos. Only been doing iphoneography for over a week and I'm addicted! What i would like to see is the option to allow for comments or feedback to be left on the pics by viewers. Love it! http://203c.zapd.co/

Truly a lovely service...

Posterous, Tumblr and Instagram etc already do this. They are also free and just as easy to setup. I think this is a "me too" service.

But what the heck, nothing wrong with "yet-another-microblogging-service". Here's my Zap'd link: http://232e.zapd.co

The photos — via Camera+ for iPhone 4 — were taken yesterday while visiting family.

@Khurt. Zapd currently have a window of opportunity, with a Tumblr service that seems to be constantly having problems, and a directionless Posterous, they could if they get things right fill the void.

Hmmm. The "Author URL" field doesn't seem to actually show your entry. My Zapd is http://2335.zapd.co

Am I missing something, or does it only support square format images (or cropped rectangles)?

having read the feature on iphoneography I connected to zapd, and had a presence in no time, very inspiring to say the least and I'm looking forward to being part of the development of this great app. Loving it! http://1qht.zapd.co

If the service didn't force you into a hideous randomly generated URL it would b 2000x more appealing. Who wants to direct people to 5ge4.someURL.com?

I really like the idea of the site. Nice way of putting up pictures for a family gathering or event. Has any one seen any terms and conditions on the site at all? I can not find any and just wondered about how Zapd could use the pictures that have been uploaded., sell them on to advertisers that sort of thing.

@nox dineen, we are planning on offering customizable URLs in the future.

@Dan we have no intentions of profiting off of artists' submissions. That being said, we will get some legal text up reflecting this concerning the showcase.

Kelly Smith,
Something like http://zapd.com/username would be better. I would even be willing to pay a nominal yearly fee ($10) to use my own domain.
